So many chapters!

Goodness Gracious Me!

I honestly never realized just how long my "40 Days" is...this thing is taking me FOREVER to read! Not that I don't enjoy it...ok...I don't. It's the common thing about how the author always hates their own writing. We can't enjoy it because all we do is find mistakes. All of you should be able to relate to this, right? It's just so annoying!

I'm up to 24 pages of notes on the first 20 chapters of the story...which is quite a few if you ask me. And then I'll have to go back through those, and I have tons of stuff I've reblogged on Tumblr to go through too, all of inspiration of course. Speaking of that, if any of you have a tumblr, you are more than welcome to follow me! There's a link in the Millennium Falcon for Tumblr, so just click that little ship and it will take you to my personal tumblr. I post a lot of randomness, mainly focused around Star Wars and Disney, but there are a lot of times when I post quotes that will eventually relate to, especially, "Promises." There are a lot of quotes out there that really make sense and inspire me for certain parts of the story.

Speaking of the story, I do have some great news for all of you. There will be a new chapter of Promises coming out, and maybe a short story as well...all for Christmas! The new chapter will appear sometime tomorrow (Monday) and if I have time, the short story as well. It really depends on what my schedule looks like, but since I'm often stuck at church for many hours on Christmas eve (after the services are finished) because of my dad being financial secretary and having to count all the offering, I will probably have some time to write then, meaning that either another chapter or a short story could appear on Christmas day.

I want to thank you all again for waiting. I have so much work I want to get done just over this break! I've spent the last four hours just reading and taking notes on "40 Days," but I hope to get it finished tonight. Something tells me that isn't going to happen, but we'll see.

Thanks again, and I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas!
