What I'm getting at here is the roller coaster we all live on when we are writing. There are some days when we are at the top of that hill, ready to write and completely happy with everything, and then there are the times when we can't do a darn thing...can't make the words flow, and we don't even have the want to write. Today was one of those days for me.
I figure you might be wondering when the next chapter will appear, and I promise you it will be before I leave for New York this upcoming Friday...and I will try my hardest to get another in there before then, or while I am gone. This last Thursday I had a practice for our band trip, and ended up running a mile and marching a mile...and then a little more. It hurt so bad, since I haven't worked out since December because...it's winter....so yeah. Then yesterday I did a bunch of stuff, and today I marched in another parade before working a dunk tank for a few hours...and then came home and worked again. I tried writing, but didn't get much done, because at this point I didn't have any want to be writing anymore. It's not fun, because I want nothing more than to just sit down and write something.
So I was thinking tonight, what might have Han or Leia done when they were really stressed out? It's a common idea that Leia would sit in her cabin all alone and start drinking...and Han would find her, and I've written about it several times, because it does make sense. What does Han do though? Does he write Romantic Poetry? LOL...probably not, but who knows! What do you think? What does Han do to blow off steam? Or Leia?
